Mr Henderson was once HM Queen Elizabeth’s trumpeter — he’s now in civvie street and regarded as one of the UK’s finest players. His classical, jazz, folk and stage credentials are top-notch and he’s bringing us a show that illustrates how great trumpet players have shaped different genres through the decades. On stage with Stuart will be Dean Stockdale (piano), Paul Jefferies (bass) and Gaz Hughes (drums).

There’s new music in the air - provided by Music Box Events - a concert series featuring some of the most exciting musicians in the UK and curated by musician and music promoter Paul Jefferies.

Paul and his wife Jayne are no strangers to the area having run highly popular jazz concerts in Bledlow and Thame in the past. Owner Paul says “we’re delighted to be bringing live music to Chinnor and the Chinnor Village Hall will be a great venue for the music, performed in the round - up close and personal to the musicians. Music Box events in Chinnor will bring Blues, Soul, Folk, Jazzy elements and Pop styles with a twist, featuring mostly quartets of players. Our accent is very much on creating entertaining concerts - showcasing brilliant UK and perhaps international artists”.

Music Box event dates can be found on their website www.musicboxevents.co.uk - tickets cost £20.00 (or £25.00 on the door) and early booking is advised. Enquiries to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call 07704 297119.
