An arrest warrant has been issued for a man accused of fraudulently making over £10,000 by abuse of position in Oxford. Christopher Crane, of Kiln Avenue, Chinnor, was due in Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (January 7) charged with one count of fraud by abuse of position.

It is alleged that the 41-year-old had committed fraud whilst in his position as branch manager for Asphaltic LTD Sig Roofing Supplies in Oxford. Crane is accused of fraudulently making £10,191.83 for himself between January 24 and November 11, 2022. He was due in court for his first hearing but failed to show up. As a result, an arrant for his arrest has been issued. A new court date will be made when he’s been located.
